News - Beatles photograph donated to Shed@ThePark
An original Beatles photograph was generously donated to Shed@ThePark by Chalfont Art and Framing Gallery .
On Thursday 10th July it was the official Beatles day with celebrations taking place in Liverpool. To mark the occasion Chalfont Art & Framing were lucky enough to secure the attendance of Tom Murray: Beatles & Royal photographer. He said: "I spent the day with the four most famous boys in the world and I couldn't believe I was photographing them. They are wonderful pictures.”
The shots, known to fans as the ‘mad day out' session, were displayed at the Chalfont Art and Framing Gallery, Little Chalfont where Mr Murray met fans.
There was a marvellous turnout at which an original Beatles photograph was donated to Shed@Thepark. Shed is so grateful to receive such support and honoured to be presented with such a picture.
Lyndsey Gonzalez-Romero artistic director said: "It's such a great opportunity for us because the Beatles are such iconic figures and as a charity, this funding and support is obviously so valuable to us."
It will be auctioned later this year with all proceeds supporting the work that we do here at Shed.
