Beatles photograph donated to Shed@ThePark

An original Beatles photograph was generously donated to Shed@ThePark by Chalfont Art and Framing Gallery.

Tom Murray, famous Beatles and Royal photographer, marked the official Beatles day celebrations on Thursday 10th July by attending an exhibition of his photographs of the Beatles 'Mad Day Out' in 1968. Shed@ThePark were the lucky recipients of an original photograph that will go to auction some time in the future.

Ordinary Man

Shed@ThePark’s performance of Ordinary Man was truly spectacular and touched, moved and inspired all the cast and audience alike. The cast produced an extremely professional performance that used multi-media to interact with the live performance.

The show, with an original script and score, ran for a week and was a real testament to the creative talents of the young people who we work with at Shed@ThePark. Due to the positive reviews and feedback we are hoping that the story of Ordinary Man does not end here.

The cast of 90 young people took the audience on a colourful adventure that followed the life of Victor - a man whom believed himself to be merely a ‘plain, ordinary man’ uninspired and working for the notorious Mr G. Reed Corporation.

With the daily grind hanging persistently over him and the ever increasing material world darkening his skies, Victor forgets to see the colour in his world. It is only after his destiny calls him that he meets the mystical bohemians, their divine Queen Maya, vibrant creatures from under the sea, an energetic circus and the insightful book elves.

With their support Victor realises his potential to transform his own life and leads a revolution against the greed and devastation that has been inflicted on his community.

“Earth provides enough to satisfy every man's need, but not every man's greed.” - Gandhi
